Lynn Roberts began her design career at an early age.  She drew and sketched until she learned how to turn her ideas into three dimensional creations. 

 After learning to knit, Lynn could not be stopped.  This passion led her to Ryerson University where she received her B.A. in Fashion Design.  After working for many prominent design houses, Lynn decided to start her own label and, in 1989, Kinetic Knits was born.  

Always looking for new ways to personify her creations, Lynn develops  stitches and techniques to make her cotton yarn come to life.  

She gets her inspiration from the beauty and colours of nature,  walking through the woods near her home in the Caledon Hills.
